Dua Lipa is an English singer and musician born August 22, 1995 at London United Kingdom. The singer-songwriter signed to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She released her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album climbed up to the third place on the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released and included Be the only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). The album also climbed at the number 6 spot within the United States. Lipa's album, which is now been recognized as Platinum in several countries across the world has won the two Brit Awards (in the year 2018) in the categories of British female single artist as well as British Breakthrough artist. Dua Lipa was born by London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). By virtue of her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian origin. There is also a trace of Lipa's ancestral roots in Peja within Kosovo. The two grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Lipa is the younger sister of Rina Lipa and an older brother called Gjin.
